A childhood dream come true

Home Centre ran Season 2 of its popular annual Room Makeover Contest. From among an abundance of entries, 20 people were lucky enough to win complete room makeovers. In this series we share their before-and-after stories.

It had been Abla Daoud’s childhood dream to have a bedroom in which she felt like a queen. But circumstances, chores and constraints kept Abla from making her dream come true. She entered Home Centre’s Room Makeover contest last year as well, but didn’t make the cut. Now that she’s moved to a new house and, for the first time, has it to herself and her family, she has renewed her desire to have it decorated as she’d always imagined.
