IDEAS AT HOME
Affordable tips, trends and inspiration to keep your home beautiful, tidy and safe
Ramadan Kareem, everyone!
During this holy month of Ramadan, fasting families look forward to Iftaar, the traditional evening meal eaten after Maghrib (sunset). It’s a time for remembrance and togetherness, for participating in that most sacred of rituals – a meal shared with the ones you love.
In the spirit of the season, we’ve hand-picked some of our favourite Iftaar recipes from our special edition Home Centre cookbook. To help you plan your menu, we have put together innovative sets of starters, main courses and desserts. Whether you crave gleaming Katayef pancakes or a piping hot tagine at the iftar table; whatever the occasion, we do hope these recipes bring a smile to your table.
These authentic, mouth-watering dishes from across the Middle East and Africa are easy to prepare and delicious when served at your Iftaar gathering, a special get-together or a memorable dinner with friends.
In our next post, we'll be giving you tips on how to set up a fine Iftaar table.
