Keeping your child safe is our top priority. At Home Centre, our Kids and Teen furniture is focused on safety and quality construction, making it one of the best choices for your child. In a wide variety of colours and styles and with incredible attention to detail, all Home Centre Kids and Teen collections are built to the highest safety standards.
Our Furniture and Bunk Beds are built to International Children’s Product Safety Standards and are BS EN 747-1 certified. All our finishes are child-safe, lead-free and use formaldehyde-free coatings.
A little extra protection
In addition to these standards, we also adhere to voluntary standards from the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). These requirements offer even more protection for children from entrapment, including bed ends and bed slats (the supports under the mattress) that are too small for a child’s head or torso to fit through.
